NATIONAL BOARDING WEEK

The Boarding Schools’ Association have this week celebrated National Boarding Week with the focus this year being on the importance of health and wellbeing.

Last week, Repton Prep’s Year 3 pupils enjoyed an introduction to flexi boarding with the Headmaster’s garden transformed into Crystal Maze. The teams were challenged in the four different themed zones before making their way into the tent to catch the gold. Mr Pugsley ensured a great time was had by all and it was wonderful to see the pupils creating memories and the garden filled with music, excitement and laughter.

Flexi boarding provides an opportunity for younger pupils to experience life as a boarder before transitioning to weekly or full-time boarding. At Repton Prep we firmly believe in the benefits that boarding brings – lifelong friendships, establishing independence and most important of all, fun!
